I know that if I’m struggling with something, there is at least one other person who is as well. This is for that person.
If you haven’t gathered by now, I tend to get overwhelmed a bit easily sometimes. And depending on the moon phases, hormones, moods of those around me (I’m a total empath; I feel EVERYTHING!) and, well, LIFE, I get that way pretty often. I used to think I was chill …and I can be, but when I’m feeling this way… I have found that I must stop, breathe, release & ground myself again.
Here are a few ways I release & get grounded again…
>>> Lots of self care …Epsom salt baths, oils, journaling, meditating & writing my prayers out daily, reading & listening to uplifting things ONLY. This creates space for feeling GOOD & sets my priorities straight.
>>> Making a brain dump list DAILY so that I can prioritize & focus on what really matters … and what will move me FORWARD ….which means I won’t have room to get or feel stuck.
>>> Fueling my body with whole foods & moving my body daily. I limit sugar, am gluten & dairy free. I teach a fitness bootcamp class and also do CrossFit so it’s important to eat right so I can train & recover properly.
>>> Getting out my camera (not my iPhone) and getting creative with my photos… so important to have a creative outlet… in my case, it’s a part of my business & I am obsessed with it! (PS. Shameless plug.. boudoir sessions are available now! As well as branding sessions if you are an entrepreneur!)
I have many things that work for me – these are just a few! More details may be found in my Soul Care Masterclass online/self-paced Soul Care Masterclass course HERE
Also, I wanted to share a few of the journaling prompts that always help me & I am positive they will help you as well 🙂
… What lights you up? What is one thing you can do to make that happen today?
… What are 10 things you’re grateful for?
… Are you bringing the light to your environment or do you feel like you’re in the dark?
I would love to know what you have on your agenda this week!? What are a few of your “musts”? If you haven’t thought about it, I hope this encourages you to make a list of your “musts” & get excited about it!
